Gable Cottage is an attractive 3 bedroom cottage, with off-street parking on hard standing for two cars. The cottage is light and imaginatively modernised. The village centre with its shops, Castle and steam railway station are all an easy walk either across the Common or along the road passing one of the pubs on the way!

The entrance porch, with hanging space for coats and boots, opens into a hallway linking the kitchen, shower room and sitting room. The bright sitting room has comfortable seating, a south- facing bay window, and patio doors opening onto the garden. The spacious fully-fitted kitchen/dining room has a refectory style table and plenty of working space. The shower room has a loo. Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a bathroom. The master bedroom has a king-size bed. The second bedroom has twin beds and the third has full size bunk beds. All bedrooms have ample storage. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, basin and loo.

Steps lead from the kitchen back door to the enclosed rear garden - part lawn, part patio. The large sunny patio has a table, chairs and wooden benches with views of the Purbeck Hills. The garden is planted with flowers, shrubs and a beech hedge.

Guests say that Gable Cottage is well equipped and in an ideal location for family holidays. The cottage stands back some distance from the road; there is a small wall, and the cottage has double glazing throughout.
