Gable Cottage is an attractive 3 bedroom cottage, with offroad parking on hard standing in front for two cars. Recently refurbished, the cottage is cosy and functional. The village centre, Castle and steam railway station are all an easy walk and you pass one of Corfe’s pubs on the way!

The entrance porch, with hanging space for coats and boots, opens into a hallway linking the kitchen, shower room and sitting room. The bright sitting room has comfortable seating, a southfacing bay window and patio doors opening on to the garden. The spacious fully-fitted kitchen/dining room has a refectory style table and plenty of working space. The downstairs shower room has a loo. There are three bedrooms and bathroom. The master bedroom has a king-size bed. The second bedroom has twin beds and the third has full size bunk beds. All bedrooms have good storage. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, basin and loo.

Steps lead from the kitchen back door to the enclosed rear garden - part lawn, part patio. The large sunny patio has a table, chairs and wooden benches. There are views of the Purbeck Hills and the garden is attractively finished with flower beds and shrubs.

Guests say that Gable Cottage is well furnished and in an ideal location for family holidays. The cottage stands back some distance from the road; there is a small wall, and the cottage has double glazing throughout. All these features minimise the effect of traffic noise which is not a problem. There are maps and guides for planning an active holiday whatever the season.
