Riddles is an attractive terraced cottage probably dating from the late 18th century, situated near the end of West Street, a cul-de-sac. It has two bedrooms, gas central heating, and was recently redecorated.

On the ground floor there is a small lobby, a small dining room, and a comfortable sitting room with a wood burning stove, amply big enough for four people. In the rear on the ground floor is a comprehensively equipped kitchen and a bathroom with loo.

Steep rather twisting stairs from the dining room lead to the first floor. The main bedroom is a spacious twin-bedded room with an east-facing window to enjoy the morning sun. The second bedroom is smaller and furnished with bunk beds, suitable for children and probably adequate for adults or ‘fullsize’ teenagers. Like so many old cottages Riddles has low ceilings and some of the internal walls are thin. The cost of gas and electricity is included in the price.

The back door from the kitchen leads to a small enclosed garden, mostly grass, with some garden furniture.

This is a pleasant, well-appointed cottage in the quietest part of the village and very close to Corfe Castle Common and open country.
