Stonecot is a three-bedroom semi-detached cottage at the southern end of the village of Corfe Castle and probably dates from the late 18th century. It is on the edge of the village and very close to Corfe Common. It has been extensively refurbished.
The entrance to the cottage is at the rear and leads to a fitted kitchen. Beyond is a small breakfast room. On the ground floor there is also a roomy sitting/dining room with ample space for five people. There is gas central heating throughout and a fireplace with a flame-effect gas fire.
Stairs from the living room lead to the first floor where there are three bedrooms. The first has a double bed; the second has bunk beds; and the third has a single bed.
There is a bathroom with basin and bath with shower over; and a separate loo. There is a small garden area with patio and garden furniture beside the cottage.
Stonecot is close to the main road. There is some traffic noise but this is much reduced by secondary double glazing at the front. Internally it is in excellent order and is a most comfortable and attractive holiday base with walks on Corfe Common and elsewhere very close at hand.
This most attractive cottage is equipped to a high standard and is suitable for a memorable holiday at any time of year.
