The Eye is a substantial early 1950’s detached house with four bedrooms and two bathrooms and is built to a high standard and comfortably furnished. It is set in its own substantial mature garden with an access gate directly to Corfe Common. Two bedrooms and one bathroom are on the ground floor. Higher Filbank is an unadopted road leading to about half a dozen detached houses. There is very little traffic.

A short flight of steps leads to the front door and hall. Off the hall is a spacious attractive sitting/dining room with polished wood floor, a stone fireplace with log burning stove, a dining table and chairs, and comfortable seating for up to 8 people. This room has French windows leading to a large terrace and the garden. Off the hall is the fully equipped kitchen with attractive wood-faced fitted units, and the back door. Also off the hall is the master bedroom with king-size double bed and French windows to the terrace; a second bedroom with double bed; and a bathroom with loo, basin, and bath with shower over. There is a boiler/drying room. From the hall a staircase leads up to a small landing and two further comfortable, roomy bedrooms, each with twin beds, a second bathroom with hand basin, loo, and bath with shower over. There is gas central heating throughout. The cost of gas and electricity is included.

The terrace has tables and chairs for meals outside. The garden is a delight, but do not let children climb the trees.

The Eye is excellent value and ideal for a wonderful family holiday.
