Woadden’s Cottage dates from the 18th century and is a three bedroom Grade II listed terraced cottage. It was in the ownership of the Woadden family, who were the local bakers and grocers, for many years.

Woadden’s has been sensitively renovated to provide a high quality holiday cottage on West Street, the premier road in Corfe Castle. It makes an ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, with fantastic views and walks from your doorstep.

The front door opens into a lovely family room and kitchen/diner, which has a spacious fully-fitted solid-oak kitchen with intergrated fridge. A door from the kitchen leads to a utility room with a washer/dryer and a separate loo. There is a small secluded paved courtyard.

Stairs lead directly to the first-floor sitting room with views of Nine Barrow Down. It has comfortable seating, and a fire-effect heater resembling a wood burning stove. Also on the first floor is a bedroom with 3ft bunk beds (large enough for adults), and a bathroom with bath with shower over, handbasin, loo, and heated towel rail.

Another flight of stairs leads to the second-floor master bedroom, with its super 6ft wide bed and fabulous views of the Castle, and the single bedroom with solid pine 3ft bed and matching furniture.

Woadden’s Cottage is fully heated throughout. It is a most comfortable cottage in which to enjoy a holiday in this lovely part of the country.
