OUR COTTAGES
We have cottages to rent in the village of CorfeCastle and elsewhere. Our cottages are fully and comfortably furnished and equipped.

What we provide
We provide pillows and duvets (plus covers), and sheets, pillowcases and towels for each person shown on our Booking Form, unless indicated otherwise in the cottage description. Each cottage has a kettle, a toaster, an iron and a colour TV, and you will see from the descriptions that some have a video or DVD player, washing machine, dishwasher, etc. Unless otherwise stated expect to find at least some loo paper, J-cloths, washing-up liquid, etc.

Pets
Well behaved dogs are accepted at some cottages. If you are thinking of bringing other pets, please phone.

Corfe Castle Street

Cots and high chairs
A cot (mattress but no bedding) and a high chair (no harness) are available in each cottage at no cost on request. Our cots are folding travel cots suitable for children up to about two years old, but not for active older children.

Telephones
Telephones are provided in some of our cottages. Mobile phone reception is now good around Corfe Castle.

Disabilities
Most of our cottages are ‘listed’ as being of historic or architectural interest. For this and other reasons none of them have been specifically adapted for use by disabled people, but the descriptions of the cottages have been written so that we hope they give an indication as to what disabilities are compatible with the occupancy of each cottage. We can offer a shower stool and raised toilet seat on request at no charge. The shower stool is not suitable for use in a bath with shower over. If in any doubt please phone and we will do our best to help.

Studland Ponies

Grading
There is strong pressure from an interfering Government for all “accommodation providers” to be graded. The scheme for holiday cottages is badly designed, confusing, and expensive and time-consuming to join. It is our policy not to join the scheme.

Cancellation Insurance
We insure at our expense all those who book a holiday from within the UK against having to cancel due to illness, bereavement, etc. The policy wording is shown here. Thanks to the Financial Services Authority we can no longer arrange insurance for those booking from overseas.

Prices
Please note that our prices include everything except optional extras. There are no hidden extras such as Booking Fees.
