River View is a spacious bungalow in the grounds of the owners’ house, built against a slope so that it is at first-floor level. Stoborough village has a garage and a pub which serves excellent food. Wareham, about ten minutes walk, is a small market town with a good selection of shops and restaurants.
Woadden’s Cottage dates from the 18th century and is a threebedroom Grade II listed terraced cottage situated next to . It was in the ownership of the Woadden family, who were the local bakers and grocers, for many years.
Gable Cottage is an attractive 3 bedroom cottage, with offroad parking on hard standing in front for two cars. Recently refurbished, the cottage is cosy and functional. The village centre, Castle and steam railway station are all an easy walk and you pass one of Corfe’s pubs on the way!
Although fully modernised, Chaffeys retains many features of an 18th century small farmer’s house, and a few showing its origins as a small house of the 16th or 17th century. Fulbeck is a spacious house built with traditional stone and situated off West Street. Access is by a secluded private drive. It is within easy walking distance of the village square and a few minutes’ walk away from Corfe Common. Fulbeck has four bedrooms, including one downstairs, a pleasant enclosed garden, and gas central heating throughout.
Littlemead is a roomy, three-bedroom bungalow built in the 1940s at the southern edge of the village near the end of West Street, which is a very quiet road. It has an exceptionally fine view of the Castle. It is an easy walk to the village centre and only a minute’s walk to Corfe Common and open country.
The Eye is a substantial early 1950’s detached house with four bedrooms and two bathrooms and is built to a high standard and comfortably furnished. It is set in its own substantial mature garden with an access gate directly to Corfe Common. Two bedrooms and one bathroom are on the ground floor. Higher Filbank is an unadopted road leading to about half a dozen detached houses. There is very little traffic.
